I know nothing about Uganda except I know I never want to go there. The penalty for homosexuality is death. Holy shit!

Getting ready to leave the ship for four night and five days to first go to Johannesburg for a night, and, then on another safari. This one we booking through Seabourn before our cruise. It was the main attraction on our itinerary. We leave in Durban and return at the end of our first day in Capetown. Originally, we thought we were returning to Capetown right after our ship docked, but that is not the case.

Did very little yesterday, the 4th sea day in a row. Did have coffee with the officers, unsuccessfully played trivial pursuit, had a long lunch with friends and just hung out. There were receptions, but we did not go. Had a tuna fish sandwich for dinner and retired early as big travel day today.
Yesterday was our friend Elaine Baer’s birthday. We talked to her, mostly Barbara did. Happy Birthday .
