I knew “The Victors” before I knew “The Star Spangled Banner”. One has to have maize and blue in their veins to understand how emotional it is to watch the Michigan Marching band take the field. It was the highlight of my day yesterday to watch the pregame program.

Michigan won handily, but their first three games did prepare them as well for the tough opponents coming up.

Our house is almost ready for our break the fast Monday night.

Nothing happened yesterday that give me any hope a shutdown can be avoided. McCarthy may be the worst Speaker in the last 100 years.
Tuberville is rolling merrily along. I cannot even root for Auburn football or, for that matter Alabama anything except the ribs.

Planning on going to Dolphin game today although it may rain.

Marlins won yesterday but, essentially, are down to a two pitcher rotation. They are real long shot to win even half of their remaining games.

I read that the best days to shop at Whole Foods are Wednesdays and Fridays. That tidbit should enhance your lives.

My friends, dwindling in number anyway, are, literally, falling down Wh right and left. Another fell yesterday and broke his hip. The older one gets, the more important it is to hang on to a railing and to stay out of harm’s way. As one often hears, “growing old is not for sissies”.
See you tomorrow. At least that is my plan.
